SABC1 kicks off March with a new entertaining reality show, Wedding Chefs. Wedding Chefs will be broadcast every Saturday at 18:30, starting on the 5th of March 2022. Wedding Chefs is a cooking reality TV show that sets out to search and match a Chef extraordinaire with an engaged couple while bringing wedding celebrations into the viewer’s living room. The nail-biting competition will ensure moments of oohs and aahs, as the story of the couple romance marries food, nervous chefs, and the wedding jitters and traditions with the diversity that is our beautiful country.
With Lindah Majola as the host, Wedding Chefs follows a couple’s love story as they journey together in finding The Wedding Chef that will offer a delightful culinary experience for their wedding. For 10 weeks, the series will pit three aspiring wedding chefs up against each other, in a competition to win the attention and taste buds of a couple on the verge of their matrimony.
A wedding happens once, and every couple on the verge of marriage looks forward to the best that they can possibly have – short of a fairy tale to start their lives together, the show offers the perfect opportunity for the couples.
The happy couples are Cybert Makola and Selowa from Braamfischer, Thulani Isaac Dubasi and Dineo Cordelia Mogorosi from Johannesburg, Nicodemus Moloisi and Faith Nokwanda Mbatha from Centurion, Calvin and Gift Nkosi from Midrand, Nomfundo and Thulani from Johannesburg, Sibusiso Radebe and Ntombi Mhlongo-Phatwe from Soweto, Tebogo and Thuso Sewedi from Johannesburg, Tsiu Lawrence Tladi from Braamfischerville and Tsibiso Mohlabane from Sasolburg, Vangile Elizabeth Ramonotsi and Thulani Patrick Mabuza from Johannesburg, Solly Nkagiseng Ntshudisane and Zanele Sebele from Roodepoort.
