Oppah Muchinguri

Defense Minister Oppah Muchinguri’s daughter, Tanya Rushesha, avoided a court appearance for fraud charges by settling with her accusers. Rushesha, aged 35, was apprehended by detectives from the CID commercial crimes division on Friday on allegations of defrauding three individuals in failed bulk fuel supply transactions.

According to a police insider, “An agreement was reached between the parties involved, leading to the withdrawal of the case.”

Muchinguri, who was reportedly in Zambia at the time of her daughter’s arrest, played a pivotal role in securing Rushesha’s release. Sources within law enforcement revealed, “Tanya has been involved in several dubious dealings before, but her mother has consistently shielded her from consequences.”
