Mass deportation remains the foremost priority for Gayton McKenzie’s party

The Patriotic Alliance (PA) remains steadfast in its demand for the mass deportation of illegal immigrants, despite their inclusion in the Government of National Unity (GNU). Speaking to the media in Johannesburg on Thursday, PA’s deputy president Kenny Kunene reiterated that deportation is their foremost priority.

“We are simply adhering to the Constitution with our call for mass deportation. The Constitution does not advocate for the legalization of illegal immigrants,” Kunene emphasized.

He further stated, “We will persist in our call for the deportation of illegal and undocumented immigrants due to the severe unemployment crisis gripping our country.” Kunene cited crime, job scarcity, and safety concerns as among the issues exacerbated by undocumented foreign nationals.

“Anyone who opposes our stance is effectively denying South Africans job opportunities and preventing their participation in the local economy,” he asserted. Kunene highlighted the takeover of township businesses, including spaza shops, by foreign nationals from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Somalia, and Ethiopia as a critical issue.

“Our townships’ businesses have been overtaken by these groups. There have been reports of South African tuck shop owners being killed by these illegal elements,” he claimed.

He added, “We firmly believe that these businesses rightfully belong to South Africans, and the situation must be rectified.” Kunene maintained that former South African-run tuck shops should be returned to their original owners.

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Themba Gorimbo has apologized to Winky D following a recent controversy. Gorimbo sparked outrage last week when he suggested that the musician was merely a local star compared to his global fame. His comments, which included claims of his superior popularity over Winky D, drew sharp criticism from the musician’s fans online, prompting Gorimbo to deactivate some of his social media accounts.

However, Gorimbo has since regretted his remarks, explaining that they were intended as a light-hearted joke rather than a serious critique of Winky D’s stature. “Guys, I made an error regarding the Winky D issue and thought it was just a harmless joke. I never meant to belittle Winky or assert my superiority,” he clarified. Read More
