Lady Amar expresses excitement after winning her first Africa Social Entertainment (ASE) Award.
The SA artist feels honoured to secure the Best female DJ award, as it proves to her that she has supporters.
Taking to Instagram, Amar poured out her heart in a post.
“I’m truly honored to be the recipient of this award and I’d like to give thanks to @aseawards for the recognition, this is my first ever nomination in my entire career that launched 5 years ago. A big shout out to God, for if it wasn’t for him and His timing none of this was gonna be possible, all it’s done because of you Lord, to all my supporters and everyone one who have contributed to making this possible for me, you have indicated your faith in me with your votes, You’ve proven to me that you believe in my craft, and for that I’m grateful.”
She further appreciated her sister, Ntando Duma and every other persons who has supported her through the journey.
A big shout to @sphamandlalive who believed in me when no one did. Thank you for all that you’ve been to me my boy. My baby sister @dumantando my biggest cheerleader & supporter who’s been with me in this journey from day 1 till this day, your love and support for my craft is inexplainable, you are amazing, thank you for everything. My mom, my sisters, friends and my family at large. Thank you everyone. I love you all,” she wrote.
