J’Something lays his grandmother to rest


J’Something recently shared a heartfelt message on his Instagram account, reflecting on the challenges of the past weeks, particularly the passing of his grandmother. Reflecting on the turbulent period, the South African musician acknowledged the difficulty of bidding farewell to his grandmother. Despite the emotional strain, he expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of love and support he and his family received during this time.

“Not all days are alike, in fact, none are the same. We’ve navigated through some intense moments in recent weeks, including the difficult task of laying our gran to rest, which has been incredibly tough,” he wrote.

He emphasized the importance of their supportive circle of friends and the strong bonds they have forged, saying, “We are very thankful for the people we are surrounded by, the friendship we share, and the support structure we have created for ourselves.”

Maintaining a perspective on the challenges faced, he shared, “In the grand scheme, these days have had their share of hardships BUT overall, we are immensely grateful for what we have. We are embracing every moment, valuing every emotion, and believe in confronting challenges directly.”

Looking ahead optimistically, J’Something hinted at forthcoming positive developments. “We have SO much good news to share with you all soon. This #CocoandJ journey has us filled with excitement … thank you for your continued cheers and celebrations,” he expressed gratefully.
